Using the site

Math Pal is for learning and teaching maths. Please do not:

• try to get into someone else's account or a part of the site you are not meant to reach;
• try to break, overload or copy the site;
• send anything rude, harmful or unlawful through the site.

Accounts

Give true details when you sign up and keep your password private. Teacher accounts are checked before they are switched on. We may suspend an account that breaks these terms.

Cost

Math Pal does not charge for anything at the moment. The Marketplace page only shows sample items, and nothing can be bought there.

Lessons and tools

We work hard to get the maths right, but mistakes can happen. If you find one, please tell us. Math Pal supports learning. It does not replace a teacher, and we cannot promise any particular mark or result.

Our content

The lessons, questions, tools and logo belong to Math Pal. You can use them for your own learning and for teaching your own classes. Please do not copy or sell them.

Your content

What you write on the site stays yours. You let us store it and show it to the people it is meant for so the site can work.

Changes to the site

We may change, pause or remove parts of the site at any time, and we cannot promise it will always be available.

Responsibility

Nothing in these terms takes away your rights under the Australian Consumer Law. Apart from those rights, and as far as the law allows, we are not responsible for loss caused by using the site.

Law

These terms are governed by the law of Victoria, Australia.

If these terms change, we will update this page and the date at the top.
